Will first became a board member of the Summit Road Society in 2023, joining as the elected representative from the Waihoro Community Board. He values the important role the Society plays in protecting and enhancing the Port Hills, and the contribution it makes to the wellbeing and recreation of the wider Christchurch community.

A Commerce graduate from Lincoln University, Will spent his formative years in Kaituna Valley and Peraki Bay on the southern bays of Banks Peninsula, where he developed a strong connection to the land.

Will was first elected as a Community Board member for Heathcote in 2023, where he took up the opportunity to also serve on the Summit Road Society Board.

Will lives in Redcliffs with his wife Sarah and their two children, Freddie (9) and Jed (7).
