Selwyn District Council Representative

I have the privilege of being appointed to the Summit Road Society as a Selwyn District Council representative.

Scrambling around Gibraltar Rock was a firm favourite when our children were young, and since then having spent many hours exploring the Port Hills, I’ve seen firsthand the value of community conservation to enhance, and resilience measures in protecting, these treasured reserve spaces. I’ve also enjoyed contributing to initiatives that enhance biodiversity and support native birdlife.

I’m passionate about encouraging Selwyn residents to discover the Omahu Bush and Gibraltar Rock Reserve – the only Port Hills reserve within Selwyn District – to engage with the regenerative process, and experience its beauty and outlook.
